I'm more so tempted to throw my FreePBX server up into Azure or AWS and offer people the softphones as an optional addition to their lives. For users, they would get a shiny softphone app for their cells and PCs (which they would then need to be trained on), but otherwise I don't see many benefits from my viewpoint (we're a Teams shop, but Teams phone and calling plan is way too expensive for the amount of phone calls we make). The biggest benefits for me would be a cloud managed platform that isn't my problem to maintain, but we'd also lose the use of our 60ish Grandstream phones. VSee provides HIPAA and Business Associate Agreement certified video communications and practice management features that are patient-focused in a way that some other tools on this list are not. I know there are arguments to be made either way, but what are your experiences with moving one way or the other?
